Privacy Policy
Simple Promise
Tab Domain doesn't collect, store, or share any of your personal data. Your tab information stays on your device.
What We Don't Collect
Tab Domain does not collect any personal information including:
- Your browsing history or website URLs
- Personal information like names or email addresses
- Usage statistics or analytics
- Any data about how you use the extension
How It Works
Tab Domain works entirely on your device using your browser's built-in features. When you click the "Group Tabs" button, the extension:
- Reads your tab titles to identify which website each tab belongs to
- Groups tabs from the same website together
- Does this processing locally on your computer
- Never sends any information to external servers
Browser Permissions
Tab Domain needs three simple permissions:
- Access to tabs: To read tab titles and group them by website
- Tab groups: To create and collapse the groups
- Host permission: To identify and organize tabs based on the websites you visit
These permissions are only used for organizing your tabs and nothing else.
Data Storage
Tab Domain doesn't store any data. When you close your browser or disable the extension, there's no trace of your tab information anywhere.
Third Parties
We don't use any third-party services, analytics, or tracking. Tab Domain is completely independent and doesn't communicate with any external websites or services.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever update this privacy policy, we'll post the changes here. However, our core promise of not collecting your data will never change.
